Jennifer Lawrence showed that even on the red carpet and on the awards stage that with her, "what you see is what you get" and she is very "real". While onstage at the recent SAG Awards as part of the cast receiving the SAG award for "Best Cast in a Motion Picture" her "Silver Linings Playbook" co-star Bradley Cooper abandoned her and the cast in a cowardly manner when a reporter asked a question about how they were able to handle the move from the latter film to the former even though they were written by the same writer.
Jennifer Lawrence is a young star and upon realizing that Cooper had left she let loose backstage with some expletives about his abandonment that were caught by the press. Earlier on the red carpet she had reacted with dismay when an entertainment reporter ruined the final episode of her favorite television show "Homeland".
While it was unfortunate that she was surprised and disappointed to hear about the news it made her more connected to her fans and observers as someone they could relate to because with her Oscar Award winning success for "Silver Linings Playbook" and her recent critical acclaim for "American Hustle" and the "Hunger Games" she was venturing into the territory of being almost too perfect. Her recent missteps in public made her more human and easier for her fans to relate to.
In 2014 Jennifer Lawrence will once again be seen on the big screen in "X-Men: Days of Future Past", "Serena" and "Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1". It is not a question of whether she will perform well but one thing is for certain is that with her recent comments toward her co-star and her public display of disappointment about the ending of her show "Homeland" her fans will feel more connected with her at the Academy Awards and throughout the year in the theaters while watching and supporting her shows.
