Academy Award winning actress Jennifer Lawrence is currently filming re-shoots of her movie "X-Men: Days of Future Past" in Montreal and as a result did something that some young actors probably could not have imagined ever doing and that is having to pass on a red carpet appearance and attendance at an awards engagement.
Jennifer Lawrence, for her performance in "American Hustle" was named as one of the nominees for the Best Supporting Actress award at the BAFTA awards which took place at the Royal Opera House in London, England. As a recent Academy Award winner and someone who is considered one of the top actresses in Hollywood she likely could have complained or requested that she be allowed to attend the event. Instead, Jennifer Lawrence decided to write out an acceptance speech for the award and asked the director of "American Hustle", David O. Russell to read her acceptance speech. It is this type of maturity why many of her acting colleagues enjoy working with her.
There are several young Hollywood actors whom if they were a nominee for an acting award for which they had a very strong chance to win and they were in the process of shooting a movie would have had shooting stopped so they would be able to attend the award show and a pre-Oscar luncheon which Jennifer Lawrence also had to miss because she was in the process of filming re-shoots.
Jennifer Lawrence possesses maturity beyond her years and her use of it as she deftly handled not being able to attend either the BAFTA awards or the pre-Oscar luncheon is a credit to her maturity and understanding of how important it is to respect the time and effort put towards each individual project. One reason why Jennifer Lawrence has become not just an Academy Award winner but one of the most respected actresses in Hollywood at such a young age is her maturity and it is why many entertainment insiders feel that her recent success will be a regular occurrence throughout her acting career.
