It sometimes feels like Jennifer Lopez has been around for years, since she has been in the entertainment industry for so many years and has done pretty much everything you can possibly do in the business. Jennifer has starred in plenty of movies, done her fair share of modelling, released a lot of music and has also been a judge on the hit show American Idol.
Right now though, as well as returning as a judge on American Idol, Jennifer Lopez has also been working on some new music, as she prepares to release he new album later in the year. Jennifer has been talking about writing and recording the new album and, from what she says, it seems that it has been influenced and inspired by her divorce from Marc Anthony.
Lopez told Popcrush.com, "What I thought about love for my first nine albums is very different from what I think about it now after everything I've been through. My goal was to just be as honest as I could. You know, I'd gone through a lot in my life right at that point when I went on tour. I'd been through a divorce. A lot of things had happened. I really felt like it was a turning point in my life.''
The new Jennifer Lopez album is currently untitled but is expected to drop in June this year. Since splitting from Marc Anthony, who she has six-year-old twins Max and Emme with, Jennifer began dating backing dancer Casper Smart just a few weeks later and the couple are still together now.
