Jennifer Lopez covers the new issue of Harper’s Bazaar in preparation for a big year: a new album on the way, and her film ‘Parker’ being released at the end of January.
In the interview, Lopez opens up about her career, saying, “I’m a singer. I’m a dancer. I’m a performer. I’m an actress. That’s what I’m supposed to be doing. It makes me a better parent, a better person.”
She also speaks about travelling, saying, “I like the whole idea of traveling, of looking good, and doing it well. I make it as simple and as beautiful as I can because my life is kind of big. So I pack my luggage, or dress myself, or comb my kids’ hair, pick up their clothes—that makes our life beautiful, you know? There’s something very elegant in that.”
It seems that one of the things Lopez does best is being a good parent, and she agrees. In a recent interview, she spoke about doting on her kids, saying, "If you ask people around me, they will say no I'm not a tough mother. They say that I need to be tougher. But I feel like when I am with my babies, I just want to love them!"
