It looks like Ben Wheatley is beginning to put together a very impressive cast for his new movie High-Rise, as the cast members continue coming as the movie edges ever closer to production. We have already known for a while now that British actor Tom Hiddleston will star in High-Rise and now it has been confirmed that two more British stars have joined the cast.
It has been confirmed that the hugely talented and very experienced actor Jeremy Irons has joined the cast of High-Rise, while the beautiful and talented British actress Sienna Miller has also signed up for the movie. With production on High-Rise set to begin in July, it will be interesting to see who else will join the cast of the movie between now and then.
To give you a little more information into what to expect from the movie High-Rise, it has been described as it "takes place in a tower block, which is supposed to be a gleaming new, exciting and exotic home for its affluent residents, but ends up isolating and dividing them into all-out war, with the surface sophistication degenerating to primal savagery."
So, we already know that Ben Wheatley will direct High-Rise, with Tom Hiddleston, Sienna Miller and Jeremy Irons signed on to star in the movie, while Amy Jump has penned the script for the movie, based on the hit novel of the same name for J.G. Ballard. Casting for High-Rise is still underway and we have no doubt that there will be plenty more impressive British talent signed up before the movie begins shooting. Watch this space!
