With a new trailer for The Avengers set to be unleashed at the Super Bowl this weekend, things really are hotting up in the promoting of the film. There have been many hints that a few of the main characters in The Avengers do not get on and the previous trailer even shows Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) letting the other superheroes know that he does not get along with others.
Now, Jeremy Renner has teased even further that there could be as much fighting between The Avengers, as there could with the villains of the piece. Renner explained, “You know, The Avengers, there’s not much to say you know. I play Hawkeye with a bow and arrow and, you know, all the other characters are in it.”
He added, “I can certainly say that, just because there’s a bunch of superheroes in a movie, it doesn’t mean that we all get along.” Jeremy Renner will be joined on the big screen in The Avengers by Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson and Mark Ruffalo. The Avengers are set to assemble on the big screen on April 27 in the UK and May 4 in the US.
