The entertainment world has been rocked by the loss of a woman who touched hundreds of celebrities over the course of her career.
On Friday, September 13, Jermaine Dupris posted a notice on his blog saying:
"I'm not sure how to even post this, but I just landed in Vegas and I got the sad news that Patti Webster passed away last night from complications from cancer. For those who did not have the pleasure of meeting Patti, let me just say this, she's the reason why the world knows me and everything about SO SO DEF< and as a person one the smartest, professional, fun, loving people, I've ever been around."
Webster died in a Somerville, N.J. hospital after having a long battle with brain cancer.
She and the company she founded, W&W Public Relations have represented big-name celebrities juch as Janet Jackson, Halle Berry, Steve Harvy, NBA star Dwight Howard, Usher, Alicia Keys, and many more.
Jermaine was traveling to Vegas to perform at the Tryst nightclub just days after hanging out in New York with Mariah Carrey at the 40th birthday bash for NAS.
