Sin City actress Jessica Alba has opened up about writing her cookery/diet book The Honest Life: Living Naturally and True to You. Jessica says that, the fact that she was not brought up with a lot of money means that her dieting tips differ from those of Alicia Silverstone and Gwyneth Paltrow.
Alba explained to the New York Daily News, "Alicia Silverstone is a vegan, so she's the extreme side of it. Gwyneth Paltrow probably lives a very similar lifestyle, but I didn't grow up with a bunch of money, so my tips are much more grounded: repurposing things and making things at home.''
Jessica then went on to state that, the reason she decided to write a cookery/diet book, is because she does do all of these things herself and feels that it is a great way to use her name and her fame to reach out to other people.
She added, ''I absolutely do these things. That's why I wrote the book. There's lots of options, like delivery services for fresh produce that is organic, if people just want to do a couple of things in the book that are super-easy...You can take what you want from the book."
Jessica Alba can next be seen on the big screen, starring alongside Sofia Vergara, Amber Heard and Danny Trejo in Machete Kills, which is due to open on September 13.
