Although it was previously rumored that Jessica Chastain was dating Jason Clarke, it has been confirmed now that the man she was spotted with on New Years Eve wasn’t Clarke, but Italian Count Gian Luca Passi de Preposulo.

Jessica’s managed to keep her love life very private until now, but it was starting to become more and more difficult as her star continued to rise. After two Oscar nominations, one Globe win, and two movies at #1 and #2 at the US Box office, she has become a household name. One unfortunate effect of that is that everyone wants to know about her love life, and sources close to her [or him] have clearly started talking to the tabloids.
Jessica has also previously said that only people in the fashion world know who her boyfriend is, but she wouldn’t reveal his name, saying, “In this business it’s very tough t maintain a relationship because we are like gypsies — always on the move. And the more you share you relationship with the world the less special it becomes. So I always try to keep my dating life quiet.”

Although Jason Clarke didn’t match the description of being a fashion person, Gian Luca certainly fits the bill as he works as an executive for a French brand called Moncler.
