Tree of Life actress Jessica Chastain has revealed how her mother did not believe that she was acting, due to the length of time it took between filming a movie and the release date. Jessica admitted that her mother felt silly as she was telling all her friends about it but the movies did not come out instantly.

Chastain explained, "The Debt was made two years ago, and my first film I made four years ago with Al Pacino. My poor mother. I'm like, 'Oh, I'm in a movie with Al Pacino. I'm in a movie with Helen Mirren,' and she tells all her friends and they don't come out for a long time. My mum called me up finally. She was like, 'What are you doing in L.A. cause it's not acting!'"
Jessica Chastain can currently be seen on the big screen in the US on the movie The Help, alongside Emma Stone and Bryce Dallas Howard. The Help is set to hit the UK cinemas on October 28. Jessica has previously praised her Tree of Life co star Brad Pitt for his ability to slip in and out of character.
