With the release of the movie Zero Dark Thirty just a few days away, there have been many comparisons made between the film and the television series Homeland. Now, Jessica Chastain, who stars in Zero Dark Thirty has given her views on the comparisons between the two.

Claire Danes in Homeland
Chastain was talking to The Wall Street Journal, when she explained, “To be honest, the only similarity I see is that they're both women in the CIA. I love the show. I love Claire Danes. I would love to act with her. Ever since I saw My So-Called Life!”
She added, “But I think the characters are apples and oranges. This is a true story, this woman, and that's a fictional show. Now we're learning that there are a lot more women in the CIA than we assumed. So I think a lot of people think it must be based on the same woman. But Maya's not bipolar, she doesn't take medications.”

As well as Jessica Chastain, Zero Dark Thirty also stars Jason Clarke, Kyle Chandler and Jennifer Ehle and has been directed by Oscar-winning director Kathryn Bigelow. Zero Dark Thirty is set to be released on January 11 in the US and then on January 25 in the UK.
