Jessica Hart is a beautiful supermodel and is on the cover of Maxim Australia’s February issue. Despite her succes and her stunning looks that are often featured on countless high fashion magazines across the world, Jessica proves herself to be just as normal, down-to-earth, and perhaps as insecure as anybody else.
When discussing anything about herself that she would change, she’s quick to point out that she doesn’t like her gap teeth at all, even though successful and famous models such as Kate Moss and Lara Stone have proven that having gap teeth doesn’t make you any less popular. She says that her gap is her least favorite trait about herself, adding, “I have a gap in my teeth- I saw that as a down thing."
Jessica also talks about what drove her to become a model and how it all happened, explaining, “I won the Dolly modeling competition in 2000. My auntie took me to a shopping center and entered me. She always wanted to take pictures of me and I wouldn't let her.” Of course, being a model is not all fun and games – there’s a ton of exercise involved, too. She explains the hard work that goes into her body, saying, “I've been going to the gym every minute I can get, and when I'm not working in the gym I'm taking Flybarre classes [a full-body combo of yoga, dance, circuit training, Pilates, and strength]. One day... I had the whole day off so I worked out three times that day."
Jessica has slowly been building a strong resume over the past couple of years, but with her level of commitment and energy, it looks like she can do anything. However, the modeling world is no place for insecurities, so she should learn to embrace her gap teeth as soon as she can, or it will just hold her back. If you’ve got it, flaunt it.
