Actress Jessica Lucas has had a long and successful relationship with The CW over the years, appearing in a whole host of different television projects for them, including spells on 90210, Melrose Place and Cult, among others. Jessica has now opened up about her relationship with The CW and what it was that made working with them so special.
Lucas recently told HitFix, "It wasn't about comfort. It was more that they were really generous with me and were always showing me what they had in development and letting me decide if I wanted to be involved and if I read something for them that I thought I could do a good job on and that I really liked, I was on board.
She added, "I’d been working for them since I was 21, 22-ish or something and I just developed a good relationship with them. I think I become close to the people that I work with and I guess they were happy enough to keep me in the fold with the work that I was doing. So yeah, they were just always really generous to me and nice. It was that kind of a thing."
Jessica Lucas has since decided to move away from The CW for a while, playing the role of Renee Clemons in the hit FOX drama mini-series Gracepoint, which is a US remake of the hit UK television series Broadchurch. As well as starring Jessica Lucas, Gracepoint also stars Virginia Kull, Kevin Rankin, Kevin Zegers, Sarah-Jane Potts, Anna Gunn, Jack Irvine, and David Tennant, who also starred in Broadchurch.
Gracepoint continues to air on FOX on Thursday evenings at 9/8c.
