Jessica Simpson has finally spoken out about becoming a Mother to baby Maxwell Drew, revealing that she wants to cry every time she looks at her newborn daughter.
The singer-turned-actress gave birth to her first child, a daughter named Maxwell Drew, over a week ago. While she has remained silent about how she and her new family are doing until now, Jessica has revealed she is besotted with her little girl. She tweeted: 'I am so in love with baby Maxwell. I want to cry every time I look at her.'
The 31-year-old 'Fashion Star' mentor has found success in the music industry as well as the television and film market, but she admitted becoming a parent by far outweighs her previous fortune. She added: 'Motherhood is by far the best thing I've ever experienced.'
Jessica is currently engaged to her sportsman beau Eric Johnson. The pair welcomed their little girl recently weighing in at at staggering 9lbs 13lbs. In a statement on her official website following the arrival, she wrote: 'We are so grateful for all of the love, support and prayers we have received. This has been the greatest experience of our lives!!'
Jessica was previously married to singer Nick Lachey, who has recently joined Selena Gomez is living off just $1.50 a day to raise awareness of poverty.
