Talented comedic actress Jessica St. Clair is returning to television screens in the new USA series "Playing House" in which she plays the part of best friends forever (BFF) to the television screen. Critics are looking at this role as one which could change her perception as a talented supporting actress with leading lady ability to one in which her leading lady talents become so obvious that she starts getting the attention of film studios for such a role.

In the series she plays Emma, a businesswoman who returns to her small hometown from Asia where she is a workaholic, to attend the baby shower of her best friend. The friend, Maggie,(played by Lennon Parnham), is then confronted with a situation when she discovers her husband is involved in an online affair with a German woman and she kicks the husband out of her house. Jessica St. Clair's character during this process commits career suicide on Skype and the background is set for them to start living and helping each other navigate the challenges of life.
She is known throughout the entertainment industry for her excellent acting work in "Best Friends Forever" but the show did not attract enough viewers to stay on the air but this television sitcom looks like it will have success attracting viewers. In "Playing House" she shines as a businesswoman starting over in her hometown as she is able to show her comedic acting range, in particular her unwillingness to only show one side of her character and instead show the different sides of her character in how she deals with being back in a small town while helping her friend with her upcoming start into motherhood.

Jessica St. Clair ability to play a comedic character with a little bit of an 'edge' has already attracted the attention of film producers and directors and they will now be watching her in this series to see if her maturation as an actress will lead to her developing the series into a hit. The general consensus is that the show will be a ratings winner and it will become the showcase for movie roles for her in the future. Jessica St. Clair's star is on the rise with her BFF portrayal in "Playing House".
