Singer turned The Voice coach Jessie J has been praising the show ahead of its second season, stating that it is the best show of its kind. Jessie also seemed to have a bit of a dig at rival show The X Factor, as she claimed that The Voice does not ridicule its singers.
Jessie J told The Sun, "If it was that bad I wouldn’t be back for a second series. I definitely wouldn’t be sitting in the chair if it was bad, if it wasn’t credible. It is a music show that celebrates and doesn’t ridicule .It is unrealistic, although perhaps fashionable, to compare any show that is brand new. The Voice is like nothing else, there is no bullying, pointing and laughing or editing to make people look horrific."
Meanwhile, Tulisa Contostavlos has hit out at claims that she has been axed from The X Factor, saying, "I haven’t been axed from the X Factor. I love the show, I’d always want to do it. Last year was much harder than my first series but I did enjoy it. I’ve contacted Simon and had dinner with show producer Richard Holloway and his wife a couple of weeks ago."
She added, "We’re all friends and I’ve not been told that I won’t be going back. I’m realistic, if Simon had called to say I was sacked, I’d say. If there were issues, I’d say. I love speaking the truth as I feel like nobody else does it. I’m not one to hold back. Simon and I are cool with each other, it doesn’t all go as deep as people think."
It is still early days and we are bound to get more news and rumours about The X Factor judging panel for next season but it does genuinely seem like Tulisa Contostavlos has not yet been axed from The X Factor.
