Singer Jessie J was set to kick off her 17 date tour on February 26 next year but she has since delayed the tour until October. Jessie has now spoken out about the postponement, stating that she needed more time to finish her album before taking it on tour.
Jessie J took to Twitter to say, “I could do my UK tour in Feb but my album will not be out before hand so if I did new songs you wouldn't know them... I have personally moved it back to make sure you ALL get a BIGGER and BETTER show and will know the music I'm performing.
My album is not finished and I am giving myself more time to finish it. I understand some of you are disappointed as am I.
Music and art cannot be rushed. I promise It will be worth the wait. Thank you for supporting me ♥”
The most recent single to be released by Jessie J was Remember Me, which was a collaboration with Daley, who is considered to be a promising up and comer. Meanwhile, Jessie J’s first album, Who You Are has managed to shift over 900,000 copies in the UK, which means that it has now been certified as 3x Platinum.
