British singer Jessie J claims that her follow up album to last year’s hit record Who You Are is set to contain music that the world will want to hear. Jessie J has yet to begin work on her new album but is set to head to Los Angeles later this month, where work on album number two will begin.
Jessie J explained, "It's so different from the first time. Then I was like, 'I'm doing an album and no-one knows about it'. Now everyone keeps asking what it's about, but I haven't written it yet. I'm excited that I don't know what it sounds like. It's good pressure. If I take on too much of the expectations from my fans, the world and the media I think I'd start to get a bit worried.”
She added, "I think if I chill and do what I do best, if I write about things I experience from my heart, that I think the world wants to hear, then it'll work." In the meantime, Jessie J has had such an impressive 2011, that she has been nominated for Best British Single, Best British Breakthrough Act and Best British Female Solo Artist at the Brit Awards, which are set to take place on February 21.
