Ever since the success of the hit movie Dumb and Dumber back in 1994, fans have called for the Farrelly Brothers to get Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels back together for a sequel. Now, 20 years after the huge success of the first movie, we are finally going to get a Dumb and Dumber sequel, when Dumb and Dumber To opens later in the year.
Dumb and Dumber saw Jim Carrey in the role of Lloyd Christmas, with Jeff Daniels playing the character Harry Dunne and the two stars worked perfectly together. With Dumb and Dumber To due to hit the big screen this year, Jeff has been talking about the movie, claiming that he feels that he and Jim were better together than the first time around.
Daniels said, "I loved doing it. I loved working with Jim again. I think we’re even better together this time than before. We know each other, we’re friends, we work with each other. We’re 20 years better at what we’re doing than what we were. I like our chances. It certainly felt funnier than the first one, I know that. But it’s not for me to judge."
We have been receiving little pieces of information about Dumb and Dumber To since 2011, with rumours of potential plot lines, to news of movie cameos from such stars as Jennifer Lawrence. Dumb and Dumber To will open on November 14 in the US, before then hitting the big screen on December 19 in the UK.
