Working in Hollywood can be very hard and there are some people who spend their entire career working as hard as possible, never quite making that big break into Hollywood superstardom, but still managing to make an honest living from it. However, there are some people who have seen their whole lives changed thanks to landing one particular role in a hugely successful project.
Actor Jim Parsons was working hard in Hollywood for quite some time, before he landed the role of Sheldon Cooper in the hit CBS comedy series The Big Bang Theory, which catapulted his acting career into superstardom. While Jim has become one of the top paid television stars around, he also uses his time away from the show to work on new movie projects.
The next movie that we are going to see Jim Parsons appearing in, is the exciting looking project Hidden Figures, which we are very much looking forward to seeing. Hidden Figures is described as, "A team of African-American women provide NASA with important mathematical data needed to launch the program's first successful space missions."
While Jim Parsons will appear in the movie, the real stars of Hidden Figures are set to be Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer and Janelle Monáe, who have the lead roles in the movie. Hidden Figures has been directed by Theodore Melfi, who also had a hand in penning the screenplay for the movie along with Allison Schroeder, adapting it from the Margot Lee Shetterly book. Hidden Figures is set to hit the big screen on January 13, 2017 in the US and February 24, 2017 in the UK.
