Jim Parsons has become one of the most recognisable faces from television in recent years, thanks to his portrayal of Sheldon Cooper in the hit CBS comedy series The Big Bang Theory. In the past couple of seasons, his character has found, what some people would call, the female version of himself in Amy, who is played by Blossom child star Mayim Bialik and Jim has only nice things to say about his co star.
Parsons explained, "It's fantastic. She is amazing. I can't say enough good things about her. She became a neuro-something or other, which means she works with the brain. It's amazing. We had an episode last season where she had to slice a brain and she had this huge discussion with the producers about how thinly you would need to slice it. I remember thinking, 'Ouch!' This is unreal."
Mayim Bialik left the world of show business a few years back to go off and become a scientist, something that will help her tremendously in her role as Amy in The Big Bang Theory. Jim Parsons and Mayim Bialik can be seen in new episodes of The Big Bang Theory which air on Thursday evenings at 8/7c on CBS.
