Jimmy Kimmel has spoken out about his fellow late night show hosts in a new interview with Rolling Stone Magazine. Although Kimmel is known as one of the best in late night, he admits to openly disliking what some of his fellow hosts have done, but he also admits to respecting a few of them.

When discussing Jay Leno and the whole ‘Late Night’ fiasco, he says, “As a comedian, you can’t not have disdain for what he’s done. He totally sold out. He was a master chef who opened a Burger King.” However, when talking about David Letterman, he seemingly doesn’t want to take any potshots and says, “If I beat David Letterman in the ratings, does that mean I’m better than Letterman? No f***ing way.”
When discussing Jimmy Fallon, he mentions that ‘he’s a worthy competitor’. Indeed, both Kimmel and Fallon are often compared in terms of humor, the quality of their shows, and the star power of the guests they pull in.

And of course, no interview would be complete without the million dollar question – does he smoke pot? Kimmel plays off the question, saying, “If we smoke weed right now, is that on the record? “I don’t know if I want this in the story. My kids are gonna read this…”
