The JLS boys have revealed how they will never end up the same way as their idol Whitney Houston, as they will fall into the drugs traps. JLS claim that they do not even get offered drugs because that is much more old school and tends to happen more to solo artists.
Oritse explained, “We don't get offered drugs just because we're in the spotlight. That's very rock'n'roll. It's very old school. I know some artists might say different but in our circle and the people that we surround ourselves with, we've never had any instances of people offering us this or that.”
JB added, “It's different when you're a solo artist, it would be very hard and very difficult. Especially if you're young as well – you generally spend time with people who are a lot older than you. Sometimes you can be influenced by people around you. Number one, it's different with a group and number two, we've been lucky.”
He continued, “You hear all sorts of horror stories from the past history of the industry but we've had good people around us, great management, great people.” JLS are set to release their Sports Relief single Proud, which will be available for download on March 18 and available in stores on March 19.
