The acting industry is full of very talented stars these days, with some of them coming through and beginning to make a name for themselves, while there are others who have enjoyed a long and successful career in Hollywood and are now seen as the best in the business. However, there are many different types of stars in Hollywood today, with these different stars making movies for many different reasons.
Hollywood veteran Jodie Foster has been working in Hollywood for decades now and is regarded as one of the best actresses of her generation, so when she talks about her reasons for making movies, then we like to stop and listen. Jodie has admitted that, while other people might have different reasons to herself, she likes to use her films as a way of helping her to learn more about herself and evolve as a person.
Foster told The Observer newspaper, "Some directors love cranes and CGI and spectacle, but that is not why I make movies. I feel like I make movies because there are things I have to say in order to figure out who I am or my place in the world, or for me to evolve as a person. But until you get to the end of your movie you don't always realise why you were obsessed with that particular thing."
As far as her acting career is concerned, Jodie Foster can next be seen on the big screen in the new movie Hotel Artemis, which also stars the likes of Sofia Boutella, Dave Bautista, and Jeff Goldblum, among others. Hotel Artemis is currently in post-production and is awaiting an official release date.
