It was sad news this week for fans of the Jonas Brothers, as the boys came out and confirmed that they are officially splitting up. There have been rumours that the split was due to Joe Jonas having a drug problem, with the singer having to spend some time in rehab. Joe has now come out to address these rumours, insisting there is no truth in them.
Jonas told People, "It's ridiculous! We're not saying anything for two or three weeks and I'm a drug addict! It's obviously not true. I've never touched heroin in my life. Neither has my girlfriend."
He added, "It's hilarious to me, but also frustrating as well. It p***ed me off when it's about my girl and even about myself. I was walking down the street and people are asking me if they can give me a hug and how rehab is. I'm like, 'You tell me because I've never been.'"
The Jonas Brothers announced that they had decided to call time on the band, after youngest brother Nick Jonas, 21, confessed to his brothers that he had doubts about the future of the band. The boys have stated that there will be no farewell album, although they have not ruled out a reunion in the future.
