True Blood actor Joe Manganiello is set to start filming for the sixth season of the hit HBO vampire television series and he has been teasing fans about what to expect from the show. Joe says that True Blood Season Six is set to be racier than it was last season.
While talking to Access Hollywood, Manganiello explained, “[It’s] racier. My character’s taken over the wolf pack, so as an alpha, and a pack of dogs, you gotta regulate, you gotta set it straight with everybody so there’s some violence. It’ll be fun.”
He added, “This is Season 6 and the first couple scripts I read – I think they’re doing a lot of stuff that they maybe held back on the past couple years. They’re pretty wild. I think it’s going to be a pretty wild season.”
Joe begins filming for True Blood Season Six tonight and has admitted that he hopes that the temperatures in Southern California pick up a bit, “Wednesday night I start shooting, so I really hope it warms up by then or it’s going to be a really tough night,” he said.
True Blood Season Six is set to premiere on HBO in June.
