Ethan Coen and Joel Coen have made some fantastic movies over the years and will continue to make more as the years go on. The Coen brothers have opened up about the fact that they always wanted to make movies from a young age and even used to make Super 8 films when they were kids.
Ethan explained, "We would watch movies on TV and then remake them the next day on Super 8. We remade The Naked Prey because we were really into that. And then, this was probably too ambitious at the time, we tried to adapt Advise & Consent."
They then went on to discuss whether music had an influence on their lives, with Ethan adding, “Our parents had two records. One was The Mikado and the other was the soundtrack of Fiddler On The Roof.” Joel then pitched in with, “They listened to so little music that when I went to college I took the entire stereo system and they didn’t notice."
The next movie for Joel Coen and Ethan Coen is the movie Inside Llewyn Davis, which stars Carey Mulligan, Justin Timberlake and Oscar Isaac. Inside Llewyn Davis will open on December 20 in the US, before then hitting the big screen in the UK on January 24.
