Following the news that Sir Alex Ferguson has decided to retire from football, there is plenty of talk about who will replace the greatest manager to ever live. One name linked to the Manchester United managers job is Jose Mourinho, although John Terry hopes to see the Special One returning to Chelsea this summer.
Terry explained to The Sun, "It is important for both of us to show respect to Real Madrid because he has a contract there. For me, personally, it is difficult to go into this subject. But the fans have shown clearly that he is a man they love, above all for what he won, and for pushing the club in a direction it had never gone in before. He is still the Special One.”
Terry added, “We keep in touch by text, wishing each other luck. He looks out for our results and keeps interested in all that happens at the club. He also keeps in touch with Frank Lampard and other players. When I heard say he wants to be where he is loved I sent him a message asking which team he was talking about. With his quality as a manager he could really go to whatever club he wants."
With Rafa Benitez definitely leaving Chelsea in the summer, the door will be open for a Jose Mourinho return and, with the bookmakers making David Moyes the favourite for the Manchester United job, it would be no surprise to see Jose Mourinho back at Chelsea next season.
