Hollywood superstar Johnny Depp is adored by women and men all over the world but he has given his heart to actress Amber Heard, with the two stars engaged to be married. At the age of 50 years old, Johnny is 23 years older than Amber but he insists that the age gap is not an issue, even claiming that Heard is the one who inspires him.
Depp was chatting to Télé 2 Semaines magazine "I don't think so. I've got a lot of life experience, certainly, but I don't feel like I'm looking down on her. Or being her mentor. I actually feel like she's the one inspiring me!"
Johnny was previously reluctant to marry his ex-girlfriend Vanessa Paradis and he has now touched on his reasons behind the decision, "Sometimes, even things that seem simple and obvious are scary. I think age, experience and wisdom give us the capacity to move beyond certain stages we didn't dare cross before," Depp continued.
As for his acting career, Johnny Depp will next be seen on the big screen in the Wally Pfister directorial debut Transcendence, which also stars Kate Mara, Rebecca Hall and Paul Bettany, and will open on April 18 in the US, before then hitting the big screen in the UK on April 25.
Meanwhile, Amber Heard will co-star with Johnny Depp in the movie London Fields, which will see the lovers sharing the big screen with Theo James, Jaimie Alexander and Billy Bob Thornton. London Fields is directed by Mathew Cullen and is expected to open at some point later in the year.
