‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ star Johnny Depp has revealed that he may not return for the fifth instalment of the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ series. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Depp said "Boils down to story, script and filmmaker, it's not something where I would say, 'Let's shoot it next month to get it out by Christmas 2012'. We should hold off for a bit. They should be special, just like they are special to me."
Depp recently revealed how he is fascinated by ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides’ co star and Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards. And, talking at a conference for the upcoming movie on Thursday, he gave us his thoughts for the next two instalments of the hit franchise, "I have a clever idea for Pirates 5 and 6, we're actually going to shoot it on the [Disneyland] ride. Just us going around in a circle. Just close-ups on everyone" joked the 47 year old.
Female co star for ‘Pirates 4’, Penelope Cruz, recently declared that Johnny Depp had her in fits of laughter while on the set of the film as he was constantly cracking jokes. ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides’ is due to be released to a UK audience on May 18th before then being released two days later in the US on May 20th.
