It was reported recently that rocker Jon Bon Jovi had died in New Jersey during his current world tour but, as expected by many, those reports were completely false. Bon Jovi has since taken to the stage, when he performed in New Jersey on Monday night, where he took the time to laugh of the rumours that he had died. He even made a little quip about it on Twitter.
It was explained, "He referred to the hoax several times, and even pantomimed taking phone calls from concerned friends checking to see if he was still alive. He even felt the need to rehash the old Mark Twain quip about how the reports of his death had been exaggerated.”
Jon Bon Jovi took to his official Twitter feed to mock the false death claims, where he wrote, "Heaven looks a lot like New Jersey" -jbj. Rest assured that Jon is fine!" The fake report seemed to be almost an exact copy of the report of Michael Jackson’s death from 2009, which was issued by The Times. The Times have confirmed that they will be investigating the issue but insist that they had absolutely nothing to do with the false Jon Bon Jovi death claims.
