Jon Hamm covers the latest issue of Rolling Stone Magazine, in which one of the topics discussed is his impressive anatomy. There was previously a lot of Internet speculation about this, especially in regards to candids and set pictures of Hamm. In fact, the speculation got so intense that Hamm was reportedly told to wear underwear to make sure that his privates couldn't be seen.

Now, Hamm opens up about the comments, articles, and speculation. When asked if he knows about what people are saying, Hamm says, "Yeah, I’m familiar. Most of it’s tongue-in-cheek, but it is a little rude. It just speaks to a broader freedom that people feel like they have — a prurience."
Clearly irritated about the amount of attention his privates have caused him, he says, "They’re called ‘privates’ for a reason. I’m wearing pants, for f–k’s sake. Lay off. I mean, it’s not like I’m a f—ing lead miner. There are harder jobs in the world. But when people feel the freedom to create Tumblr accounts about my c–k, I feel like that wasn’t part of the deal [of fame]. But whatever. I guess it’s better than being called out for the opposite.”

It seems as though Hamm is not completely happy with all of this attention getting deflected away from his acting and the show, but at least he manages to keep everything in perspective. The new season of Mad Men debuts on Sunday, April 7th.
