Jordin Sparks, the winner of the sixth season of American Idol, returned to the shows stage last Thursday and revealed that she still finds it intimidating. Jordin returned to the reality TV show to perform her latest single ‘I Am Woman’ during Thursday night’s results show.
Jordin admitted, "Honestly, I was shaking - Idol always does that to me whenever I come back because it just brings back a whole flood of memories - all good, some slightly traumatic.” Sparks then added, "I always feel like, 'Oh my gosh, I'm stepping on the stage…I'm being judged again'. But instead of it just being the three judges, it's the 30 million people watching! I was very nervous."
This week on American Idol the remaining finalists will have to sing three songs. One will be chosen by the judges, Randy Jackson, Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez. One will be chosen by their mentor Jimmy Iovine and the third they will chose themselves. American Idol returns tonight on Fox and the results show will be aired tomorrow.
