Fans of the hit The CW series The Vampire Diaries were upset to learn that Klaus was leaving Mystic Falls and heading to New Orléans, meaning his relationship with Caroline (Candice Accola) would be over. However, Joseph Morgan, who plays Klaus, has admitted that there is always the opportunity for show crossovers.
Morgan recently spoke to TVGuide, when he said, "[There was] a responsibility for the fans who were rooting for Klaus and Caroline to at least give them some sort of resolve. That's not saying it's the end of that because there's the potential of crossovers, but to acknowledge that we owed that to them."
Joseph then went on to admit that he was truly grateful to The Vampire Diaries writers, for allowing Klaus to be the hero, "It was really generous of [the writers] that after all the terrible things that Klaus has done, to give me something where he can come in and save the day," added Morgan.
You can catch Joseph Morgan, along with fellow The Vampire Diaries stars Daniel Gillies and Claire Holt, in The Originals, which premieres on The CW in October. Meanwhile, The Vampire Diaries season five will also premiere in October on The CW.
