Transformers actor Josh Duhamel returned to his home town of Minot for Labor Day weekend to try and help raise money for the victims of the flooded town. Josh also hopes that as well as raising money, he will also help to raise awareness of the problem.
Duhamel did, however, admit that he is not too concerned for the people, as they have so much heart. He explained, "I have pride in where I'm from and just want to help the best way I could. People (in Minot) are as strong as they come. I'm not really worried about the will or spirit of the people”
The US has experienced some freak weather over recent months, including earthquakes and the disastrous Hurricane Irene. Unfortunately for North Dakota harsh storms caused Souris River to swell, flooding towns, including Josh Duhamel’s home town of Minot.
