Lost actor Josh Holloway has revealed that, when he was a young boy, he always had a dream of becoming a professional basketball player and making it all the way to the NBA. Josh claims that his coaches were always very positive and always encouraged him to aim high and fight for his dreams. However, Josh just was not quite good enough, so turned his attention to other things.
Holloway explained, "I have always had a passion for basketball. I was determined to become an NBA baller. It was at a time when Magic Johnson, Dr. J and Kareem in the '70s shorts were everywhere. Coaches were like, 'You can be anything you want,' and I believed them. I trained hard and I was good. I could play. I got so abused in high school. Being on the varsity team but never playing, scrimmaging and getting beat up by all the big players.”
He added, “I was worn out and not having any fun, and my grades suffered because all I did was try to be a baller." Before then joking, “I finally discovered p*ssy but I always played basketball because I loved it." Josh Holloway can next be seen on the big screen, when he stars alongside Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, which is released on December 21 in the US and December 26 in the UK.
