Josh Hutcherson and Jennifer Lawrence are good friends in real life and play romantic leads in ‘The Hunger Games’ franchise. But is Josh jealous of Jennifer’s critical and awards success? After all, at just 22 years old, Jennifer is a two time Oscar nominee for Best Actress, has already won a Golden Globe, has won numerous Critics Choice Awards, and gets strong notices for every single movie she acts in.
Josh’s career next to Jennifer’s is much slower and although he picks interesting projects, can’t really compare to his Hunger Games co-star in terms of awards mettle.
TMZ cornered Josh the other day and asked him whether he was jealous of Jennifer’ success after she won the Golden Globe, but he replied that not only is he not jealous of her, but that he’s ‘very proud’ of her. He also added that he tried calling her after she won, but she was too sick to talk.
Both Lawrence and Hutcherson will next be seen together in ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’, while Lawrence is also gearing up to shoot ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ and Hutcherson is set to act in ‘Paradise Lost’ with Benicio Del Toro.
