It is fair to say that Joss Whedon is one of the best in the business at building character relationships in his television shows and movie. So, it is nice to see that Joss is planning to take a deeper look into the relationships of the characters in The Avengers 2.
Whedon, being his ever talkative self, was chatting to Digital Spy, when he explained, "I have a greater opportunity to dig into the relationships in the second one and that's what's really exciting about it for me."
This latest little snippet confirms what he has already revealed, when he told MTV News, "Don't go bigger, go deeper. The grand thing is that all these people have met, so you've gotten that out of the way. And now you can really spend your time just digging in. And by digging in, I mean with a scalpel to cause pain."
The Avengers 2 will see the return of Chris Evans as Captain America, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Mark Ruffalo as Hulk, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow and Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, while it is expected that we will see some new characters, such as Ant-Man and possibly even Doctor Strange.
