Hollywood star Leslie Mann and her husband Judd Apatow have been recalling the time that they first laid eyes on each other. Leslie was auditioning for the movie The Cable Guy, which was being produced by Judd.

Judd Apatow and Leslie Mann
Judd recalled his first ever meeting with Leslie, claiming that he knew right from the start that they were destined to be together. He said, “[I thought,] 'There goes the future Mrs. Apatow'. I had a soul connection instantly. I meant it. That's why I remember it.”
Meanwhile, Leslie also recalled the first time they met but she remembers it quite differently. Mann joked that she was more interested in winning the role than she was in Judd. She added, “I was in a panic. Auditioning is so nerve-wracking. I remember thinking [Cable Guy director] Ben [Stiller] was cute.”

Leslie Mann and Jim Carey in The Cable Guy
Fortunately for Leslie Mann and for Judd Apatow she did win the role in The Cable Guy, alongside Jim Carey and Matthew Broderick and the two of them got to know each other much better. Judd and Leslie began dating and are now married with two daughters, Maude and Iris.
Leslie Mann is next set to appear on the big screen in the Judd Apatow movie This Is 40, which is released in the US on December 21 and in the UK on February 14.
