Writer, director and producer, Judd Apatow has claimed that he is giving the world what they need, by producing a new Pee-Wee Herman movie. The, as of yet, untitled Pee-Wee Herman movie is currently in the scripting stages and is still some way off of being ready for shooting.
The screenplay is currently being worked on by Pee-Wee Herman actor Paul Reubens and I Love You, Beth Cooper actor Paul Rust. The movie is yet to decide on a director but that is expected to be done after the script has been completed.
Judd Apatow said of the untitled Pee-Wee Herman project, “Let’s face it, the world needs more Pee-wee Herman.” Pee-Wee Herman first hit the big screen back in 1985 in the movie Pee-Wee Herman’s Big Adventure, which was written by and starred Paul Reubens.
