Over the years we have seen Judd Apatow make many impressive movies, which he has also had a hand in writing and, more often than not, he tends to stick with the same group of stars for most of his films. However, Judd is now preparing to make his latest movie Trainwreck but, it seems that he has decided to mix things up in quite a big way.
Instead of writing the script for Trainwreck, Judd Apatow has this time decided to leave the writing duties in the capable hands of Amy Schumer, who has already begun work on the screenplay. As well as that, it seems that Judd has also decided to move away from the familiar stars such as Paul Rudd, Seth Rogen and Jason Segel, and is this time going with a different cast.
According to the recent reports, Judd Apatow is currently in negotiations with a number of stars for Trainwreck, with Barkhad Abdi, Tilda Swinton and John Cena all favourites to land roles in Trainwreck. Meanwhile, other star names such as Mike Birbiglia, Jon Glaser, Vanessa Bayer and Ezra Miller are also being linked to roles in the upcoming comedy.
As well as writing the screenplay for Trainwreck, Amy Schumer will also play the lead role in the film. Trainwreck will see Schumer playing a woman who has managed to screw up almost everything in her whole life and has made the decision to turn her life around. We are not sure when filming will begin on Trainwreck but it is set to open on July 24, 2015 in the US and August 28, 2015 in the UK.
