Hollywood stars Jude Law, Robert Pattinson and Naomi Watts were all lined up to star in the movie Queen of the Desert, which has now had to put production on hold. This may lead to all three of them pulling out of the project due to commiments to other movies.
Jude Law has all but confirmed that he will not be returning to star in Queen of the Desert, when it does eventually get off the ground. He also seemed to hint that the movie might not actually be happening at all, although that has yet to be confirmed.
Law was talking to Indiewire’s The Playlist, when he explained, “I don’t think that’s happening. I don’t think I can do that anymore.” This comes after Naomi Watts also said that there was a lot of doubt surrounding the movie, after it decided to delay production.
While Queen of the Desert was expected to star Jude Law, Naomi Watts and Robert Pattinson, it seems that all three actors may now have to pull out due to the delays and other scheduling commitments. Queen of the Desert is set to be written and directed by Werner Herzog but it is now unclear when production on the project will begin.
