After making three seasons of the hit BBC comedy The Mighty Boosh, packed full of wacky but wonderful songs, Julian Barratt and The Mighty Boosh co creator, Noel Fielding decided to record an actual album. Now that album has finally been completed.
Julian revealed, "We haven't put it out yet but we've done the recording. It sounds good. We recorded it at Electric Lady Studios - they did quite a good deal." However, there could be quite a wait for it as the plan is to release it in conjunction with The Mighty Boosh movie and that has yet to begin production.
Barratt continued, "We're just waiting for a time to put [the album] out really. I don't know, when we get round to writing the next film or something we'll tie it in and release it together." However long the wait is for The Mighty Boosh album, it is sure to be worth it.
