Hollywood actress Julianne Hough has opened up about how she suffered abuse when she was just a young girl. Julianne moved to the UK when she was just 10 years old, to study ball room dancing but she states that it was a very tough time of her life.

During an interview with Cosmopolitan, Hough explained, “I was 10 years old looking like I was 28, being a very sensual dancer. I was a tormented little kid who had to put on this sexy facade because that was my job and my life. But my heart was the same, and I was this innocent little girl.”
Julianne continued by stating that, while she was abused, she does not want any pity, “While I was in London, I was abused, mentally, physically, everything. I don't want pity. To me it's more about being that voice for people who don't necessarily have a voice,” she added.

Julianne Hough is set to appear on the big screen, starring alongside Russell Brand, Holly Hunter and Octavia Spencer, in the untitled Diablo Cody movie, which is expected to be released either later thus year or sometime in 2014.
