A new poster has been released for the upcoming movie Carrie, which shows a close up of Julianne Moore’s face, with the words “God won’t help you” written down it, in a similar style to the Thor character posters. Julianne plays Carrie's lunatic Mother, Margaret White and looks rather creepy in the poster, below.

The synopsis for Carrie is as follows:
The quiet suburb of Chamberlain, Maine is home to the deeply religious and conservative Margaret White (Moore) and her daughter Carrie (Moretz). Carrie is a sweet but meek outcast whom Margaret has sheltered from society. Gym teacher Miss Desjardin (Greer) tries in vain to protect Carrie from local mean girls led by the popular and haughty Chris Hargenson (Doubleday), but only Chris’ best friend, Sue Snell (Wilde), regrets their actions. In an effort to make amends, Sue asks her boyfriend, high school heartthrob Tommy Ross (Elgort), to take Carrie to prom. Pushed to the limit by her peers at the dance, Carrie unleashes telekinetic havoc.
As well as Julianne Moore, Carrie also stars Chloë Grace Moretz, Judy Greer, Alex Russell, Ansel Elgort, Portia Doubleday and Gabriella Wilde. Carrie is directed by Kimberly Peirce, based on the screenplay by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, and is set to be released on October 18 in the US and then on November 29 in the UK.
