There are some stars in Hollywood these days who choose to focus their efforts on landing television roles rather than going for the big screen roles, while there are those who are the opposite and prefer to concentrate on their movie careers. Then there are those people who like to try to mix their television roles with their movie careers.
One Hollywood star who has spent the majority of her career switching from television shows to movies, is former Dexter actress Julie Benz, who has enjoyed many different roles on both the big screen and the small screen. Julie is showing no signs of changing her ways either, as she has a couple of movie projects lined up, as well as some television work mixed in.
Julie Benz appears in the Brenton Spencer movie Sole Custody, which was written by Gary E. Imhoff and Brian D. Young. As well as that, Julie will also appear in the movie Circle, which is written and directed by Mario Miscione and Aaron Hahn and is currently in the process of filming, with an official release date yet to be confirmed.
As well as these two movies, which are expected to open sometime later in the year, Julie Benz will continue in her role as Mayor Amanda Rosewater in the hit television series Defiance, which will premiere its second season on Syfy this year. With her obvious acting talents and her beautiful looks, it is no surprise that Julie Benz continues to get work on both the big screen and the small screen, and long may it continue.
