British Hollywood actress Juno Temple is one of the nominees for this year’s Bafta Rising Star Award and she has been talking about what an honour it is. Juno says that she is still trying to take it in that she has been nominated and is encouraged by receiving recognition for her work.
Temple was talking about her nomination when she said, “I’m still digesting it, for sure but I think, truly it’s just an honour, it’s something that I did not expect to happen and something that I’m so excited by and so encouraged by, because I really wanna do this for the rest of my life.”
She added, “I absolutely love what I do and it’s just nice to know that I’m kind of taking the right path right now you know and it’s so lovely to have an award like this that is encouraging young actors to keep doing what they wanna do and I just think that’s really inspiring and I think all of us are fighting for what we wanna do and we have the passion to do it and yeah, it’s such an honour to be here.”
Juno Temple faces stiff competition for the Bafta Rising Star Award from Andrea Riseborough, Elizabeth Olsen, Alicia Vikander and Suraj Sharma. The 2013 Orange British Academy Film Awards are set to take place on Sunday, February 10 at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden.
