It has been a long road for singer Justin Bieber and his recent childish, arrogant, and self-indulged behaviour has seen him lose a lot of respect from a lot of people, with a lot of his own fans turning on him along the way. Justin has tried to claim that he has now managed to get past his childish ways and, in a new video he released, he insists that he is now much more grown up and is not the person he has been perceived to be.
Bieber said, "It’s been a minute since I’ve been in a public appearance, and I didn't want to come off arrogant or conceited or basically how I’ve been acting the past year and a half. I’m not who I was pretending to be. Why I say I was 'pretending' is often we pretend to be something we’re not as a cover up of what we’re truly feeling inside. And there were a lot of feelings going on in there."
He added, "Just being young and growing up in this business is hard. Just growing up in general is hard. I just felt awkward up there. I felt like people were judging me, and I really want people to know how much I care, how much I care about people, and how I’m not that person to say, 'I don’t give a f***,' you know? I’m not that kid."
Unfortunately for Justin Bieber, while he is trying to prove that he is now a grown up, he recently appeared in public with a moustache that a pre-pubescent teen would be ashamed of. It is good to see that Justin is trying to turn his attitude around for the better but we would suggest that he shave off that fluff on his top lip if he really wants to appear grown up.
Do you think Justin Bieber has really turned over a new leaf or do you think he is just saying what needs to be said in order to win people back over?
