It was reported earlier this week that singer, actor and all round entertainer Justin Timberlake and his long term girlfriend, New Year’s Eve actress Jessica Biel had got engaged, following Justin’s proposal during a pre Christmas snowboarding holiday. Now, Sadie Bomar, the grandmother of Justin Timberlake, has confirmed that the news is in fact official and that Justin called her on Christmas Day to tell her the good news.
Bomar explained, "He called me on Christmas Day and told me he's engaged.” She continued by adding, “Jessica is a very sweet girl, she's upright and everything and we love her. She's a wonderful campaigner for the environment and Justin is too, a fine young man. Jessica will be a lovely member of the family."
Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel have been dating on and off for around four years. They split up back in March of last year but were reunited a few months later. Now, the couple look set to be married. Justin Timberlake is currently considering an offer to play English singer Sir Elton John in the biopic Rocket Man, which is set to begin production later this year.
