The Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco has made no secret of her love for Pit Bull's, and it seems she's even willing to speak out against other celebs to defend them!
Hope and Faith actress Kelly Ripa made more than a few people angry on her show yesterday when she made a comment about the dogs, calling them dangerous. Kelly is reported to have said that Pit Bull's are dangerous, referring to one as a 'gangster'.
Kaley was quick to Tweet about the comment, saying: 'Did Kelly Ripa really say "all pits are dangerous" on her show this am? I didn't see it, just hearing through Twitter.. True or false?' Kaley's followers quickly responded confirming that this was in fact true, and Kaley was quick to Tweet back, saying: 'Completely heart broken and disappointed.'
Kaley then Tweeted again, saying: 'I really hope @Kellyripa didn't say what I think she said this am regarding pit bulls. #please don't be true.'
Kaley is a passionate animal lover, and she isn't the only one disappointed by Kelly's comments. Twitter users tweeted Kelly asking her to take back what she had said about the misunderstood breed.
Due to the attention surrounding Kelly's comments, there is now a petition on change.org asking people to sign up and show their support in getting Kelly to volunteer at a pit bull dog shelter so she can educate herself about the breed. Considering the response from Kaley and fans, we imagine there is an apology looming.
